Nick will provide commentary about his work and practice, taking questions from the audience throughout the evening.
Nick was first employed as a photographer at The Sydney Morning Herald in 1993, covering daily news, politics and crime. In the late 90's Nick started specialising in severe weather and bushfire photography and has continued covering major weather events in Australia and overseas since then. Nick was awarded Australian Press Photographer of the Year in 2002 and won a World Press Photo Award in 2003. Nick was invited to the Walkley Advisory Board as a photojournalism specialist in 2013, and continues to cover stories pertaining to weather and the environment.
