'Half Tone is a body of work inspired by the built environment, by the concrete structures that I navigate in my daily life. It occurred to me that these things that surround us, while they appear as permanent and immovable are in fact fleeting and fragile.'

Scott Newman is an artist primarily working in traditional and alternative process photography.  Scot was educated at Canberra Institute of Technology and Edinburgh Napier University. Working as a freelance commercial photographer and maintaining an arts practice since 2008, Scott has works held in private collections in Australia and abroad and is a current member of ANCA (Australian National Capital Artists). The Photography Room has represented Scott’s work since 2015.
